Harvard University has reached a $53 million settlement with families whose loved ones' donated bodies were mishandled at Harvard Medical School. Former morgue manager Cedric Lodge was convicted of stealing body parts from cadavers donated for medical research and selling them illegally online between 2018 and 2021. Lodge received an eight-year prison sentence while his wife got one year for their involvement in the scheme.
